at 7pm at the Collister Library.

The Vice President, Secretary and
Treasurer positions are being vacated this year. We deeply appreciate their service over recent years!
New volunteers are needed! Details below.

Board Positions to be elected:

The Collister Neighborhood Association board is comprised of four core positions (executive committee) and additional at- large/project specific positions as interest arises. Position responsibilities include:

  • President: The President oversees the basic operations including preparing meeting agendas, facilitating meetings and serving as the primary representative of CNA to the broader public. (8 -15 hours per week)
  • Vice President: The Vice President supports the executive committee and in the absence of the President or in the event their inability to act, the Vice-President performs the duties of the President. (4 – 6 hours per week)
  • Secretary: The Secretary records minutes at all meetings, manages correspondence with residents, prepares email newsletter using Mailchimp and Wordpres, and other tasks as needed. (2 – 4 hours per week)
  • Treasurer: The Treasurer tracks CNA funds, prepares reports and shares financial updates and expense reports with board members and neighbors at the annual neighborhood meeting. (1 – 2 hours per week)
  • At-large: Our current bylaws allow up to 5 additional board members. Currently, we have board members leading special projects in Arts and Planning & Zoning. If there is sufficient interest, the Board would like to add the following at-large members: an Events chair and a Neighborhood Watch chair.

The current Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer are not seeking reelection, so new volunteers are needed for these roles!

Three board existing members are seeking re-election in their current positions:

  • Suzanne Stone, who has served one term as President
  • Ester Ceja, who has served one term as Planning and Zoning Chair
  • Claire Fenton, who has served one term as Arts Chair

Elections will take place at our annual meeting on Wednesday, February 12, at 7 pm at the Library at Collister. If you would like to be considered for a position, please send your name and position of interest to president@collistercna.org by Wednesday, February 5th. If you have already contacted us to express interest, you won’t need to do so again.
